Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials through our identity provider (Clerk).

Restaurant Data

When you connect your point-of-sale system (e.g., Toast POS), we access and store transaction data, menu data, labor data, and guest information as authorized by you. This data is used solely to provide analytics and insights through the Service.

QuickBooks Data

If you connect QuickBooks, we access financial data including chart of accounts, journal entries, and vendor information as authorized by you during the OAuth connection process. This data is used solely to provide profitability analytics through the Service.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and browser/device information. We use PostHog for product analytics and Sentry for error monitoring.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • To generate analytics, reports, and insights about your restaurant operations

  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using industry-standard cloud infrastructure providers including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Supabase, MotherDuck, and Cloudflare. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With third-party vendors who assist in operating the Service (cloud hosting, authentication, email delivery, error monitoring)
  • Team Members: With other users you invite to your restaurant's account
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

6. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Toast POS and Intuit QuickBooks. When you authorize these connections, we access data according to the permissions you grant. You may revoke access at any time through the Service's connection settings or through the third-party platform directly.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
